It was a busy day for Jonah yesterday. First he went to visit his grand-uncle Auggie and grand-aunt Cat which included a nice car ride along the PIE to Tampines. He enjoys the car rides, especially at night when he can see the various lights and shadows as the car moves, and the movement of the car almost always lulls him to sleep. He was especially talkative yesterday, with extra loud coos and ahhs and squeals.
Then Esther and Gerry came over with dinner for a house visit. They bought the yummy crabs from Melben Seafood at AMK Blk 232 - butter crabs and crab bee hoon. The butter crabs were sooooo good with the creamy butter sauce, we even had fried man tous to go with it. And the crab bee hoon was supposed to be good, but funny thing was the auntie forgot to include the packet of bee hoon in the takeaway, so we just had crab in the yummy ginger lemak broth. Must go back and try it WITH the bee hoon :) But as with all good food places, it's always super crowded so best to order in advance.
Jonah's beginning to sleep longer at night, for about 4-5 hours at a stretch, which is really good news for mommy & daddy coz we can also sleep longer :) Another 3 more weeks before I have to go back to work....sobs!

My sister laughed her head off when I told her about the auntie forgetting the bee hoon :) The crabs are a bit on the expensive side, but those were pretty big crabs we had... yeah, and the creamy butter sauce was pretty good. Imagine how much better it would taste if we ate it straight after it was cooked!
