Jonah turned 1 month old on 11 jun 07 ! but it was last weekend when celebrations began.
on sat 16 june 07, i brought my son out for the first time and as a family, we had a full lunch at the club together ! when i say full - i mean daddy chows down real fast, then starts to feed jonah, so that mommy can enjoy her spread. but after he was well fed, we had coffee while he lay on his back ( in a baby basket ) and smiled at us :) it was awesome! after that we managed to get some shopping in, daphne and i got to pick up some new closet items and enjoyed a great jap dinner.
on fathers day, 17 jun 07, i celebrated my first fathers day by witnessing the baptism of jonah @ 4pm at the church of st francis xavier. it was a great fathers day gift! we had over 120 other witnesses, mostly family and close friends and he showed off like a star, only cried for a bit! it was great to catch up with family again, only wish the weekend was longer so that I could spread out the friends and fam... you know you never get to be with your friends when a whole jing gang of family wants a piece of ya kid :) but all was well and in the evening, we were delighted to open up tons of presents , twas fun! thank you for your presents and especially your presence!
feedings are also becoming more predictable and we are managing well, thank god! overall, i am glad to say that i am still on cloud 9 :) enjoying every struggle, sleepless night and redbulls that follow the morning after.... it is great to be a daddy.
