Was reading Joe's blog and I'm really envious of his happening Melbourne lifestyle - every weekend it's either sailing, ice-skating, horseriding, cherry picking or bringing Ginger to the doggie country club (yes, that's right, a country club for dogs *roll eyes*). No wonder everyone wants to migrate Down Under... Here, we're just thankful for the quiet time we get to spend at home or the brave would venture to the crowd-infested Orchard Road or the recently opened Vivo City to get shoved around and practice navigational skills around the throngs of people.
Watched Casino Royale on Friday night and was pleasantly surprised that it was worth my $9.50. Lots of action, violence, beautiful locations, eye candy, witty and cheesy lines and it actually had a pretty substantial plot :) There are some movies that you go for with little expectation and yet come away happy with the outcome (e.g. this movie, Kung Fu Hustle) and there are some which even fail to live up to your low expectations (e.g. Miami Vice *thank goodness we had free tix*).
It's Asia Media Festival week... that means many many time spent at Shangri-La Hotel...sighz....

Funny. We came here to avoid being too busy and bogged down in Sing. Think we're in a 'phase' actually - Exploring new hobbies to pick up. So far, Horse riding seems to have stuck (Shirley's at riding lessons as we type).
Heard about this vivo city thing. Have to check it out when I'm back (in a couple of weeks). Catch ya soon !
